We first met in summer school in 2014. Apolline was a junior, and Charlie was a sophomore. We dated all through high school. We shared lunch everyday, held hands between classes, and attended prom three times. 

In August of 2016, Apolline went off to Montréal to attend McGill university while Charlie finished his senior year. In 2017, Charlie moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. We continued our relationship long-distance, thanks to 6-hour plane rides, video calls, and the support of our great friends.

In February of 2020, our paths reunited in a one-bedroom apartment in Capitol Hill, Seattle. We adored this neighborhood and the years we spent there.

We returned to our beloved Bay Area, where Charlie is busy completing his masters and Apolline works as a consultant. Between exploring, eating, beach bumming, sailing, we love our life in San Francisco.
